Breakfast at hotel, pick-up at hotel adn transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic fligth to SITTWE, the capital and main port of RAKHINE (arakan) State. On arrive Sittwe, transfer to river jetty and board a simple boat for the 70km journey upriver to the ancient former capital of Mrauk U. Proceed for sightseeing of the nearby ancient city with remains of walls, gateways and unusual 16th century temples such as the mazelike “SHITTAUNG” Shrine,which boats 80,000 images.

Breakfast at hotel, make an early start for a drive on open truck to WETHALI (Vesali). The 10km distance will take about 1 hour. Sightseeing includes remains of Walls, Defensive Moat System, Central Palace, and a 5 meter high seated Buddha. Return to Mrauk U and visit to Andaw Paya sanctuary, Yadana Pon Paya Stupa and Dukkanthein.

Breakfast at hotel, join boat for return journey down the river to SITTWE. Transfer to Sittwe airport, fly back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and check into hotel. Free at leisure time.

Time at leisure to pursue individual interests until your transfer to the airport. Arrive at Yangon International Airport for Departure.
