Passport &
Visa
A valid Passport with Entry Visa is required of all visitors. A tourist
Visa allows a stay of 28 days, extendible for an additional 14 days. A
Business Visa allows a stay of 28 days, extendible to from 3-12 months
on a case-by-case basis. Visa on Arrival is granted on prior
arrangement.
Customs
Foreign currencies, jewelleries, electrical goods and cameras
must be declared at the airport. Export of antiques and archaeoogically valuable
items are prohibited. Duty Free allowance: Two bottles of liquor; two cartons of
cigarettes; 100 cigars; 1.5 lb of tobacco; one point bottle of perfume of eau de
cologne.
Currency
Myanmar currency is the Kyat, made up of 100 pyas. Currency
notes come in the following denominations: K 1000, K 500, K 200, K 100, K 50, K
20, K 10, K 5 and K 1. Visitors are not allowed to bring in or take out Kyats.
Health
No vaccination certificate is required unless coming from an
infected area.

By Sea
Cruise Ships call at Yangon Port with Visa on Arrival being
granted on prior arrangement.
By Overland
Overland entry with a Border Pass is permitted at the following
Border Check Points: Kyukoke, Namkhan and Muse on the Myanmar - Yunnan (China)
border, and Tachileik, Myawaddy and Kawthaung on the Myanmar - Thai border.

RATES, VALIDITY AND INCLUSIONS
Rates in this tariff are quoted net to travel agents in US $. Dollars at current
rate of exchange and are subject to change without prior notice.
Include in quoted prices are domestic airfares, transfer and transportation,
accommodation, meals and services as shown in each itinerary.
Not included in the tour prices are optional tours, visa charges and airport
taxes (unless stated in the itinerary) and expenses of personal nature.

Local English Speaking guides accompany tourist on all land tour. Availability
of German, French, Italian, Spanish as well as Japanese speaking guides is
subject to confirmation at time of booking.
Tour Group Discount
If the group is 15 pax and above, one complimentary will be provided.
Child Policy
Children between 2 and 12 years of age are granted a 25% discount on transfer,
excursions and package tours providing that rooms are shared with two (2) adults
without an extra-bed (or 15% discount if they require an extra bed). These
discounts are granted for one child per room only. Children requiring their own
rooms are charged as adult but get a 30% discount on application domestic
airfare.
Tour Cancellation
Cancellation takes effect the day on which the written notice is received.
Cancellation fee are as:
30 days or more prior to arrival - 10 % of tour price
15 – 29 days prior to arrival - 60% of tour price
7 – 14 days prior to arrival - 80 % of tour price
Less than 7 days prior to arrival - 100 % of tour price
Refund
After commencement of travel no refund either in full or in part, will be given
for unutilized services included in the programme.
